Overview: Members of Student Council represent their peers and work with teachers and administrators to make McStrick a better place. Student Council helps to organize school events, community service projects, and activities that promote a positive school environment. Students from grades 4 and 5 are nominated by peers and teachers to serve.
Why join? Student leadership provides a practical way for students to develop and practice skills such as communication, problem-solving and decision making, teamwork and collaboration, confidence and self awareness. These skills go beyond academic knowledge and are highly valued in both professional and personal settings.
Meeting Info 📅: Every 2-3 weeks in the library during lunch
